The police Counter Terrorism Internet Referral Unit (CTIRU) is a specialist team set up to tackle the growing number of illegal terrorist and violent extremist content on the internet. They remove around 1,000 pieces of material from the internet every week.

Borders College participates in the eduroam WiFi service, which allows Borders College users and visitors from other participating organisations to use their log-in credentials to connect to eduroam. This also allows Borders College users who are visiting other organisations access to their eduroam WiFi service.

Borders College has extensive articulation routes with universities across the country. Articulation means progression from one course to another and is usually used when referring to progression routes from college to a degree at university.

This Travel Plan has been prepared in support of a drive towards Net Zero by 2040 in line with sectoral and Scottish Government targets.
