Students from Borders College ‘Business with Information Technology Course’ have raised some local Christmas cheers by raising £300 for Borders Children’s Charity.
The students ran a charity movie event on Wednesday, 11th December 2024, in the Small Lecture Theatre at the Galashiels Campus. The event, which included a tuck shop, was enthusiastically supported by both students and lecturers at the college.
Four local businesses got behind the initiative by providing sponsorship. Their support was invested in covering the costs of running the event. The businesses that generously supported the event were Border Competitions, Booker Galashiels, Niki’s Lounge Bar and Monte Cassino Restaurant in Melrose.
