Course Content

The Modern Apprenticeship in Construction Bricklaying includes Practical Skill Development, Theory and Associated Subjects, Health & Safety and on-site work experience to build a portfolio of evidence. There are 9 mandatory units which cover: Confirm Work Activities and Resources for the Work, Develop and Maintain Good Working Relationships, Confirm the Occupational Method of Work, Conform to General Workplace Health, Safety and Welfare, Erect Masonry Structures, Set Out to Form Masonry Structures, Erect Masonry Cladding, Erect Masonry to Form Architectural and Decorative Structures, Bricklaying Skills Test and 1 optional unit which can be chosen to suit the workplace.
